The Taxidermist's Daughter by Kate Mosse
This is a Gothic thriller set in a churchyard in Sussex in 1912. I found that it took a little time before it really piqued my interest. Keeping the characters straight and what they were up to took a little time. But all in all the macabre ending made up for it. If you like thrillers you will probably be interested in this one.
