The Persecution Of Mildred Dunlap by Paulette Dunlap Post- Review Post -Review

The Persecution Of Mildred Dunlap    by Paulette Mahurin       Post- Review

My Thoughts:

This is the story of two persecuted women living in a small Nevada town in 1895. They love each other very much, but cannot live their lives the way they want to because of the prejudice and lack of understanding at that time. They have to live secretly and endure the consequences. But in the end they learn how friendship and love gives them the strength to live the way they want to during these trying times. I found it to be a real page turner and interesting story.
It's a women's Brokeback Mountain filled with memorable historical events, especially the conviction of Oscar Wilde.
