Knee Deep by Jolene Perry review

This is a story of a teenage girl named Ronnie who is being abused by her boyfriend and soul mate Shawn. She can't come to grips with the fact that just because he is stressed with his problems at home that she should put up with his anger. Her good friend Luke tries to persuade her that he is not right for her and to get away from him. Things get worse and she ends up in the hospital after being hit in the face, and she seeks help through a support group at the recommendation of her father. Shawn becomes even more angry, while Luke continues to care for her.

This is a familiar story of what's going on in the world with many teenage girls. It's sad to think that they have to stay in these situations thinking that they are to blame. This was a very good read and I thought it was very insightful.
