Feature & Follow

Q:  What is the longest book you've read? What are your favorite 600+ page reads?

The longest book I've read is probably Doctor Zhivago by Boris Pasternak, 594 Pgs.

If you count book series, I would say, Harry Potter and The Hunger Games, a long story in small doses.

  1. I haven't heard of that one. However, some of the later Harry Potter books are definitely more than 600 pages.

  2. I think that Harry Potter is in many lists :)

  3. I have no idea what the longest book I've read is.

  4. I've heard this title before, but I have no idea what it's about. Guess I should look it up.

  5. I agree - the HP series was fantastic - didn't even seem like the books were that big.

  6. Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix was like...900 pages or something. Love the Harry Potter books so much that you don't even notice the length.

  7. Great choices!!

Happy reading and thanks for stopping by!!

  8. Great pick even though I've yet to read HP series!

  9. That would be Gone With the Wind with 1036 pages. I enjoyed Doctor Zhivago, too.

    1. Ning- You're right.

      Liza- Yes, it is.

Bermudaonion- You sort of lose tract after awhile.

      Jennifer- It's from awhile back.

Tanya, Veela Valoon- Not when they are interesting.

      Sarah- You too!

Te Sagacity Quest- Glad that you stopped.

Carol M- two of my favorites.

  10. If you consider the fact that the version of The Lord of The Rings I read was the one that’s one book with the 3 parts inside (1202 pages in the brazilian version), that would be the longest book I’ve ever read. But if you consider series to favorite 600+ page reads, hands down, Harry Potter. Not so much for the story, but for the feeling it brings me every time I think about it.

    I'm a new follower, btw!
