Booking Through Thursday

If you’re like me, you grew up reading everything under the sun, like the cereal boxes while you ate your breakfast, the newspapers held by strangers on the subway, the tabloid headlines at the grocery store.

What’s the oddest thing you’ve ever read? (You know, something NOT a book, magazine, short story, poem or article.)

***

Probably the oddest thing I've ever read are the informational flyers that are mailed with your bills. At the time, you think that they might yield some helpful information but they really just turn out to be advertisements for some product.

  2. You are probably the dream come true of the people who write the copy for those inserts. I know I worked on a catalog a couple of years ago and I wondered if anyone would actually read much of the copy I wrote for various products.

  11. There are certainly a lot of details like that to take into consideration. That is a great point to bring up. I offer the thoughts above as general inspiration but clearly there are questions like the one you bring up where the most important thing will be working in honest good faith. I don?t know if best practices have emerged around things like that, but I am sure that your job is clearly identified as a fair game. Both boys and girls feel the impact of just a moment’s pleasure, for the rest of their lives.
