For the most part, I can only concentrate on one book at a time. Sometimes I'll start a book, but if a more interesting one comes in, I'll leave it and come back to it at a later time. However, I never read two or more books simultaneously. I would get too confused! :)
I'm eventually going to try and get back to where I just read one at a time. I can't do that though until one of the books I'm reading is returned to me, I lent it out to a friend.
ReplyDeleteHave a good weekend.
Stopping by from the hop.....
ReplyDeleteI am amazed at how many people read more than one book at at time.
Stop by my blog for a giveaway of LINEN QUEEN courtesy of Sarah from Hachette Books and to see my answer to this week's Blog Hop question.

I can understand not wanting to read more than one book at a time so you can keep track of the story. :) But it also makes sense to switch books if one is getting boring or less interesting. Happy hopping and reading this weekend!
ReplyDeleteNot everyone can multi-task and nobody should. When it comes to book sure, I can't read four books simultaneously (or even two, for that matter!) but there are times I'll juggle as many as four books at a time depending on the subject matter, the urgency or more often both.
ReplyDeleteThe real trick to this is what KINDS of books to juggle. Hop on over to my blog and learn the method behind my madness - http://www.howardshermannet

Coming through on the blog hop.
ReplyDeleteI will read two books only if I am slightly bored with the first one!
Hopping through. I generally read multiple books. I like doing it even tho I do get confused sometimes.
ReplyDeleteMy Hop
Chelsey- I rather concentrate on one book at a time, I enjoy it better that way.
ReplyDeleteElizabeth- I was amazed also at the concentration of reading more than one book at a time.
DJL- I can see your point about that.
Howard Sherman- Wow! four at a time.
Mystica- Thanks! for coming by.
Alison- I would get confused reading more than one book at a time, thanks! for hopping by.
The next time I read a blog, I hope that it doesnt disappoint me as much as this one. I mean, I know it was my choice to read, but I actually thought you have something interesting to say. All I hear is a bunch of whining about something that you could fix if you werent too busy looking for attention.

There are certainly a lot of details like that to take into consideration. That is a great point to bring up. I offer the thoughts above as general inspiration but clearly there are questions like the one you bring up where the most important thing will be working in honest good faith. I don?t know if best practices have emerged around things like that, but I am sure that your job is clearly identified as a fair game. Both boys and girls feel the impact of just a moment’s pleasure, for the rest of their lives.
