Wonderous Words Wednesday

Les Miserables

Translated variously from French as The Miserable Ones, The Wretched, The Poor Ones, The Victims

From the book The Note (page 3) by Angela Elwell Hunt.

  1. Les Miserables is one I've never read. Now I think I know what the basis of the book is.

  2. I knew the meaning of this one from our time in France. My French has never been very good, but I have to admit it has come in handy at times.
