Top Ten Tuesday - Top 10 Bookish Resolutions

Top 10 Bookish Resolutions

1. Read more - watch less TV.
2. Offer more opinion and analysis in my book reviews.
3. Obtain more ARCs from major publishers.
4. Try again to read the Hunger Games.
5. Read more books outside my comfort zone.
6. Buy more books from our local used bookstore.
7. Attract more people to enter my book giveaways.
8. Try to read the book before their upcoming movie versions hit theaters.
9. Purchase more books for the children in the family.
10. To give every book a chance before forming an opinion on it based on its cover or the hype surrounding it.

  5. Oh, #10 is so hard especially when we read a lot of book blogs and start to see a book over and over again. Honestly, I try not to read the details of the reviews so I don't spoil the book for myself

  8. My goal for this year is to use the library more. I have already checked out six books. So I'm making an effort to read more library books. It feels good to see all the money I am saving.

  14. Adding another vote to The Hunger Games. It really is a powerful read!

    The trying to read more books outside your comfort zone is a good one! Sometimes I will think about picking up something different and then I usually end up going for something a little more familiar. I need to be a bit more daring!

    Some days I really need to turn off the tv...but those NCIS and Law & Order marathons are so addicting! :)
