Post War Dreams by Brenda Whiteside

Post War Dreams by Brenda Whiteside

I love stories in this time period, the ww11 era. Claire Flanagan has a hard life, her mother dying at a young age and she only seventeen has moved around with her dad trying to find work to support them.
They end up in a small town where she finds friends and her dream of going to California some day is growing dimmer. She meets Benjamin, a hard working young man, whom she falls head over heels for. He comes from a large family and quickly comes a part of it.
Claire and Benjamin's romance hits a snag and keeps you wondering if they will end up together.
