Wondrous Words Wednesday

Wondrous Words Wednesday

I found these words in the book I am currently reading, called America's First Daughter.

Cockade- A rosette or knot of ribbons worn in a hat as a badge of office or party.

Nattered- talk casually; especially about unimportant matters; chatter.

  1. I've been known to natter a time or two. Great words!

  2. I love "nattered", and cockade does not sound like what it is! Fun entries. ;)

  3. Like Kathy, I too have been told I natter a bit. Cockade is new to this old gal.
