Ooh I want to know what he was in prison for! Thanks for visiting my TT https://cleopatralovesbooks.wordpress.com/2015/01/13/teaser-tuesday-january-13/
Thanks! for coming by.
I hate to think what it was like for him in an age before prison regulation.
It must have been awful.
That's a sensible resolution!Mine: https://storytreasury.wordpress.com/2015/01/12/teaser-tuesday-the-enigma/
Wonder what he did and hope he stays true to his word and doesn't go back.
I hope so to.
This one is intriguing.
Great teaser with so much to ponder on! Why was he in jail in the first place? What were his experiences considering it is one of the worst jails in the country? Great post!
May his will be strong and stay out of trouble. My TT - http://fuonlyknew.com/2015/01/13/teaser-tuesdays-95-growl/
I hope he does.
Hi Mary Ann,How many prisoners say that and then go and re-offend?. Let's just hope that he can break whatever cycle put him into the prison in the first place, as it isn't clear how long he has actually been out for in your teaser lines. Back in 1929, I am sure that many prisons would have been described by their inmates, as one of the worst in whichever country they were in, but I wonder if that is actually a deterrent for this person?Dennis Lehane is not one of my most favourite authors, so I'll probably pass on this one, but thanks for sharing.Yvonne
