Color Song by Victoria Strauss Review-Post

Color Song  by Victoria Strauss

Guila has a real passion for art and after being sent to a convent against her will, she plans a dangerous escape right before she takes her vows. To be a woman in that day and age it was next to impossible to study her art of painting. She then plans a daring feat and disguises herself as a boy and is off to Venice to be taught by a master. I felt like I was right there with her on that very difficult journey.
It is a remarkable story of a brave young woman who is trying to safeguard the secret paint recipe that was given to her.
This is a book I found interesting and couldn't put down.
