Wonderous Words Wednesday

Wonderous Words Wednesday

My words today are from the book I am reading now called, The Girl With A clock For A Heart  by Peter Swanson.

1. Querulous- complaining in a petulant or whining manner.

2. Officious- assertive of authority in an annoyingly domineering way esp. with regard to petty or trivial matters.

  1. Hi Mary Ann,

I knew both of your words this week, however my visit has not been wasted in the least, as I have succumbed and requested a review copy of the book from NetGalley. The UK cover version they advertise is amazing and really sets the scene of intrigue and mystery.

I hope that you are enjoying the book,

    Yvonne

  2. I knew querulous meant complaining but didn't know it was in a whining manner. I hate querulous people!
