Wondrous Words Wednesday

WWW

My words today are taken from:  S- Hard Words.

1. Sabicu- The very hard wood of a West Indian tree, valued for Shipbuilding.

2. Sagittal- Relating to the suture uniting the two parietal bones of the skull.

3. Samite- A heavy silk fabric, often interwoven with gold or silver, worn in the middle ages.

4 comments:

  1. while rubbing my sagittal suture I sat on a ship made of sabicu while wearing a robe of samite. Not my best effort, but fun nonetheless! Great words!
