Orphan Train By Christina Baker Kline Review- Post

Orphan Train    By Christina Baker Kline     Review- Post

My Words:

I truly loved this story of two very brave women, one who is ninety
and a true survivor of the orphan train and grave poverty and the other a young girl who is going from one foster home to another. They find each other and the telling of Vivian's story brings them closer together.
The history of the Orphan Train is remarkable. These orphan children were put on this train to find families and were probably scared to death thinking if they were going to be treated right and endure their new life.
Will some of them meet their siblings years later and find happiness at the end of their years? I found this to be a page turner worth reading,

  1. It's hard to believe they did that to children back then. This book really does sound like a page turner.
