Wondrous Words Wednesday
My words today are taken from a book I am currently reading, although they may not be too wondrous.
The Lawyer's Lawyer by James Sheehan
1. scraggly- ragged, thin, or untidy in form or appearance.
2. klutz- A clumsy person.
3. gargoyle- in architecture a carved stone grotesque, usually made of granite.

I've been known to be a klutz! Fun words!
ReplyDeleteSometimes it's nice to see words you already know. Gives you that "smart" feeling. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteI love the word 'scraggly'. My Mom always used it to describe herself after working back-to-back shifts. Thanks for bringing back nice memories through words!
ReplyDeleteBermudaonion- Me too!
ReplyDeleteJulia- You're so right.
Thesirenstale- Your welcome!
