Your teaser lines were intriguing enough, but when I read the words on the cover 'A Pinky And Bear Mystery', I just had to check out the synopsis and author.
If all of Ken's books are written with this same tongue in cheek humour, then he surely has to be a candidate for a new genre I discovered just a few months ago, that of the 'Mystery Caper'.
This series of books is certainly worth a little more investigation, so thanks for an interesting post.
