Teaser Tuesday
My teaser is taken from the book: Echoes From The Infantry by Frank Nappi
pg.9
The attic is also filled with many things about which John knows nothing. His father's army footlocker, a dusty green chest filled with military paraphernalia. He looks quickly, having little interest in the war.

I've seen this book recently. Sounds powerful.

Attics can be such intriguing places to explore. I hope you enjoy(ed) this one!
ReplyDeleteHi Mary Ann,
ReplyDeleteThis sounds like quite an emotional story and I am so glad that the author decided to make this into a novel, as I don't read memoirs and I really want to add this to my reading list.
Listening to my parents and in-laws, when they reminisce about past experiences of a bygone age, is always so interesting and I know that were we to gain access to their attics, we would find a veritable treasure trove of memorabilia and hitherto untold information.
I really hope that you enjoy this book,
Yvonne
Hope you're enjoying!!
ReplyDeleteIt sort of seems like he wants to get done faster due to more than just that he has no interest in war. Maybe war has affected his past somehow? Either way...this is a powerful teaser. Thank you so much for visiting my TT. Old follower :D Jaclyn @ JC's Book Haven
