My teaser is taken from the book: Echoes From The Infantry  by Frank Nappi

The attic is also filled with many things about which John knows nothing. His father's army footlocker, a dusty green chest filled with military paraphernalia. He looks quickly, having little interest in the war.

  3. Hi Mary Ann,

    This sounds like quite an emotional story and I am so glad that the author decided to make this into a novel, as I don't read memoirs and I really want to add this to my reading list.

    Listening to my parents and in-laws, when they reminisce about past experiences of a bygone age, is always so interesting and I know that were we to gain access to their attics, we would find a veritable treasure trove of memorabilia and hitherto untold information.
