Booking Through Thursday

Q:  What books do you like to read when it's snowy and white? What books do you read to evoke a real feeling of winter (good or bad)?

When we are in the grip of winter, I like to read a good mystery/thriller to keep my mind off the cold weather and hope maybe that spring is just around the corner.

  1. I don't really think I choose a special kind of books just because it's winter outside. Maybe for Christmas, but not the rest of the winter.

  6. We don't get that much cold weather so I keep on with my regular reading in the winter.

  7. I love reading those any time of year! By the Christmas tree, by the pool - it doesn't matter! :)

  8. I do enjoy reading winter books in winter, especially holiday themed books. OTOH, sometimes I will read a beach read as an escape.

  9. I probably read more during the colder weather, but my choices are more determined by what's been on my TBR the longest more than anything else! Thanks for visiting my BTT earlier.

  11. It doesn't get snowy and wintry here but I enjoy reading seasonal romances on the rare occasions that it's cold. Now that I think about it, not having snow here might account for the distinct lack of those sorts of books in my reading the past few years!
