A Wonderful Day Spent In New York

Although it was very cold on Saturday, I spent the day seeing the play The Heiress on broadway starring Jessica Chastain. The actor who plays Matthew on Downton Abbey was also in it. It was a real treat to have a break in the winter doldrums. We also went to Carmines for a fabulous lunch before the show, it couldn't get any better than that on a cold winter day.
