Q:   Best cover? What is the best cover of a book that you've read and loved?

I have to say the best cover is Little Women by Louisa May Alcott of a book I read awhile back and still remains the one I really loved.

Q:  Do you find yourself thinking that the books you read would be good on film?
Do you wish the things you watched on TV or in the movies were available as book?

Not really, some books are really ideal for film and exciting like Harry Potter and LOTR, but most books I would just rather enjoy the book itself.

Pittsburg Landing By Robert Burns Clark Review-Post

Pittsburgh Landing   By Robert Burns Clark     Review-Post

This is a story of two men who fought bravely during the war at an obscure post on the Tennessee River known as Pittsburg Landing. It's a story of true courage during these times of certain death or being maimed for life.
Will, a 42 year old West Point officer and a veteran of the Mexican War, volunteers to train his troops, although he is very much against pitting American against American. Before he heads off to war he marries the beautiful young Sarah, whose father is his friend and approves of the relationship.
Amos Bingham, also a veteran of the Mexican War, refuses to join the fight but discovers his son Noah is off to join the army. Amos seeks the help of Will to find his son before he does join up .
This battle goes on for years and proves to be very bloody and many lives are sacrificed. It is a compelling and page turning read.

A nor'easter was coming in and they had to wait for flight clearance. The two had no choice but to speak with each other. Patty asked Ellen what she really had against her. Ellen was in shock as Patty denied ever trying to kill her as she once admitted to it. As the flight was cleared for take off, Ellen refused Patty's offer to fly back with her. Stay tuned.

Dead Ringer By Allen Wyler Review- Post

Dead Ringer      By Allen Wyler        Review- Post

Dr. Lucas McCrae, neurosurgeon, while at a medical conference in Hong Kong gets the surprise of his life, when the head of a cadaver turns out to be his best friend , Andy. He is shocked beyond belief which leads to more intrigue as he tries to prove that it is Andy, which leads to a whole conspiracy of corruption. It is an exciting thriller that takes you into a world of unbelievable events that gets you wondering about the medical research of body parts. I like thrillers and mysteries and was taken in by the subject matter and the macabre nature of the story. If you enjoy this genre, I would suggest reading it.

Dimitry's black dress was impeccably done and came very close to winning the challenge. Stay tuned.

Circle Of Shadows By Keith M. Heim Review- Post

Circle Of Shadows   By Keith Heim

I truly enjoyed reading this story of a young boy by the name of Steve who runs away from home at a very young age to escape from a very abusive father. He finds himself in a small town in Alabama, during the late 1940's. Without a penny to his name he takes odd jobs around the town which barely keeps him in food and living in an old shed.
The obstacles he endures and friendships he makes while hiding in this town makes for a very interesting read. It's a story of bravery and survival of a young man's life who is out to make a good life for himself.
The ending, I found to be truly amazing and will leave you with an admiration of this young man. I couldn't put this book down.
