My Words today are taken from the book: Dark Souls  by Paula Morris

Motte- An artificial earth mound.

Garroted- Strangled.

Snickleways- Alleys in London.

  2. The only word I knew there was garroted, but I always first think that it means stabbed for some reason.

  4. Hello :) I came across your post through Wondrous Words Wednesday :) "Snickleways" is probably one of the silliest words I've heard in awhile! What a fun word. Definitely sets an image in the reader's mind!
