We all had to read things in school that we didn't like...but what about something you read for a class you ended up liking(or loving)?
An author you discovered that you might not have found? A genre you hadn't thought about?
In high school it was Shakespeare's plays, which I didn't appreciate at the time and it was a genre I hadn't thought about.

I didn't mention them, but yes, Shakespeare's plays were on my list; they never made it to my "favorites," though. But I did appreciate some of the beautiful passages. Thanks for stopping by my blog.
ReplyDeleteI wasn't that impressed with Shakespeare until we got to Hamlet. Our class actually went to the theater to see a production - and it all made so much more sense.

ReplyDeleteI didn't appreciate Shakespeare in high school either. Now I enjoy his plays far better.
