Reading: Pittsburg Landing by Robert Burns Clark
Received : Wonder by R.J. Palacio Amazon Vine
August Pullman was born with a facial deformity that, up until now, has prevented him from going to a mainstream school. Wonder, now a New York Times best seller, begins from Auggie's point of view, but soon switches to include his classmates, his sister, her boyfriend, and others.

ReplyDeleteHi Mary Ann,
ReplyDeleteI have seen some great reviews about 'Wonder' and no-one seems to have anything detrimental to say about it, including 'Bermudaonion' by the sound of things.
'Pittsburg Landing' probably isn't my kind of book, but I know that my father-in-law would enjoy this one ... Great gift idea, thanks for mentioning it.
