Yes, I usually talk about books I am reading, especially the one's that are most interesting to me. And yes, my daughter and I discuss books all the time. How about you?
That sounds like a wonderful mother/daughter relationship :) My mom and I seldom talk about books. The first time, she was behind on the Harry Potter Series (because she was reading the Japanese translation) and the second time I was behind on IQ84 (because I was reading the English translation), ha. thanks for stopping by!
I think if my daughters and I lived closer to each other we would talk about the books we read, but they live 850 miles away. However, one just visited me in July and took a bag of my books home with her. Her daughter also took some of my books as well.
My daughter does not enjoy reading...and I don't have friends who enjoy it that much, either. I'm the bookworm...lol
