Teaser Tuesday



My teaser today is from  The Color Of Snow by Brenda Stanley  (e-book).

“I’m sorry,” I whispered through tears. “They are my friends. I want to have friends, Papa.”

Papa shook his head gravely. “I know you do, but there are things you don’t understand and I am only doing what’s best for you…and them.”

I sobbed at the thought of no longer seeing Damien or Donny. “Why is it for the best? Why can’t I have friends?”

“Sophie, it’s dangerous. Bad things will happen.”
