Q: This Sunday in the U.S. is Mother's Day. In celebration, what are some of your favorite books with strong mother/child relationships?

I definitely have to say Little Women, this was a very strong bond between mother and her daughters.
Anne of Green Gables, although she was an orphan had a very strong relationship and bond with Marilla , who adopted her.

  15. I love it when readers cite the classics as an answer to this question. I have an early hard-cover edition of Little Women, which lives on my piano--can't help but pick it up and read from time-to-time. I agree with your choices.
