Q: Have you had a character that disappointed you? One that you fell in love with and then"broke up" with later on in either the series or a stand-alone Book? Tell us about him or her.
I have to say the last series I read The Hunger Games, Katnis, I am over the excitement of the story and character.

Thanks for stopping by - I haven't read The Hunger Games, but Katnis seems to keep coming up this morning.

I appreciated that Katniss was strong and was willing to sacrifice for her sister but I never really loved her because I didn't feel like I knew her well.
ReplyDeleteYeah, by the end of the series I just didn't like it...probably because the third one is the worst of the three. Great answer :)
ReplyDeleteHere's my FF!
I wasn't happy with the way the end of the third book went.
ReplyDeleteYeah, I can understand some disappointment in Katniss. Thanks for stopping by! My Follow
ReplyDeleteI didn't really like how the series ended, either.

Hmm I love the Hunger Games, the story, the characters, and all that. But I do remember not being happy about the ending, specifically because of Katniss. Now, I read this some years ago so I don't remember why. I'll have to do a re-read :)
ReplyDeleteI couldn't pick her. She surprised me by not doing what I thought she would during the rebellion. While the ending left something to be desired, I thought she was pretty strong. I definitely understand, though. I'm an old follower. Happy Friday!
ReplyDeleteI agree, I have a very similar answer this week.

I can totally see that. I think Gale was a bigger disappointment for me, but overall, they all kind of let me down.
ReplyDeleteI get that, but I thought it went the only way it could have. New email follower and thanks for following me back!
ReplyDeleteI actually really like Katniss but I see where you are coming from!!
ReplyDeleteHappy reading and thanks for stopping by :)
Only in the 3rd book was I let down. I am hoping the movies do a good job. BUT they trounced Twilight into dust so I am doubtful.

I like Hunger Games, but I am only on book 1. Thanks for stopping by.
ReplyDeleteAgree!! Thanks for stopping by my blog and following!
ReplyDeleteThe last book was a real disappointment to me. Thanks for stopping by my FF:)
ReplyDeleteMy favorite of the 3 was Mockingjay, actually. I felt like Collins didn't cop out and give us a happily ever after for the sake of it and showed us that nothing is without sacrifice and so many characters sacrificed so much in the third book for the freedom they deserved.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by!
I've heard that before and must say I wasn't surprise. Click on my name to see my answer.
