Booking Through Thursday

If you had to pick only 5 books to read ever again, what would they be and why?

1. Little Women- It was one of the first long novels I read as a young girl and always remained my favorite.

2. The Hunger Games Series- This was an exciting read from beginning to the end.

3. Pride And Prejudice- Loved the romantic story and the time period.

4. Sherlock Holmes mysteries- They were thrilling and good.

5. Tara Road- I like Maeve Binchy 's stories that are set in Ireland and her down home way of telling them that appeals to me.

  1. Oh yes, Little Women. A favourite of mine too. Jane Austen, Sherlock Holmes, Maeve Binchy... All good too. The Hunger Games series I've seen mentioned here at BTT before but still no idea what it is about.

  2. those are some good ones thanks for stopping by my blog

  3. I LOVED Little Women! :)

I have honestly yet to read the hunger games. I know, BAD BLOGGER!

  4. The Hunger Games would be a good one. =)

  5. Little Women is one of the few books I've read multiple times so it would definitely be on my list too.

  6. Ahh, I'm two thirds of the way through The Hunger Games series, and I think I've been converted! I'm intrigued to see how many other readers have included Sherlock Holmes on their lists as well—I'm thinking I need to check out more of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's work if so many readers would add it to their Top 5!

    Thanks for sharing your picks!

  7. The Hunger Games, definitely! Also, the Harry Potter series for me.

  8. Good choices. Little Women and Sherlock Holmes were on my short list -- probably numbers six and seven, if I could have chosen a few more books. Love 'em both!

  9. Hi! Thanks for visiting!

Good picks. I also picked Pride and Prejudice and the Sherlock Holmes mysteries are my kind of books too. :-)

    1. Dawn Treader, Miz Moffatt, JLS Hall- Thanks! for commenting.

      Paul- You also!

      Bermudaonion, Tabatha V- It's a good read.

      Megan- I think so too.

Christine Rains- I didn't think I'd like The Hunger Games but was pleasantly surprised.

      Wutheringwillow- you too!

  10. I was thinking about Pride and Prejudice and it'd have been my 6th choice. I really liked that story! :) AND Little Women! Both of them are great.
