YAY. I knew 3! Haven't heard of bumpershoot before- it's certainly a funny sounding word. Furphy is quite commonly used in Australia actually, it was based on water containers, but is actually used for lying, or untruths "That's a furphy". I learnt tatterdemalion from Enid Blyton's Famous Five- she actually uses it a few times in the series of books.
