1. How does your book appeal to women?
I have found that women find appealing the deeply emotional component to my novel. It is a story of finding a way to heal by overcoming tragedy and extreme adversity, with the support and love of his family. It is also a tale of spiritual discovery and insight on the wings of forgiveness and redemption.
2. How does your book appeal to men?
Men, it would seem by nature, are not as attuned to emotional elements, but rather in my novel's case, to the universal journey of understanding and enlightenment.
3. How does your book appeal to teenagers and those in their 20s?
The spiritual journey is a universal experience, and I believe this applies to people of all ages, including teenagers and those in their 20s.
4. How does your book appeal to those who are middle aged?
Everyone questions the path they are on in this life, and those who are middle aged know they are halfway through the journey of life, which naturally and instinctively leads to trying to figure out the journey.
5. How does your book appeal to the elderly?
The elderly have had by far the most experience in pursuing meaning in life and the spiritual questions and answers that are posed in my novel may very well resonate strongly with them.
6. In your mind, who is the ideal reader of your book?
The ideal reader for my novel is everyone who is curious about the journey, purpose, and meaning of life. Everyone who enjoys an extraordinary story will find a great connection to my novel.

Paul H. Magid started writing his debut novel, LIFTING THE WHEEL OF KARMA, twenty-five years ago while still in high school.
