I agree with the good writing part too. It's what draws the readers in. :)
I like a good story, but sometimes really bad writing can drown out that story.
Good writing, particularly if it's a unique character voice, can sustain many books that are less action-oriented. But yes, both are needed!!
I want both but, if I had to pick, I think I'd take a good story.

Hello. I do agree that both are important but I'd choose good writing as well. There was a BTT I read and the blogger said something about how a writer weaves words. :)
