Booking Through Thursday
E- Readers like the Kindle and I Pad are sweeping the nation.... do you have one? do you like it? Do you find it changes your reading/buying habits? If you don't have one , do you plan to?
I don't have one, I prefer reading the actual book, but I am buying one as a Christmas gift for someone.
I don't have one either, but can see how handy they would be if you travel a lot. I'm sure sometime in the future I will give in and buy one, but not anytime soon, I still like my actual books.
ReplyDeleteI've had a Nook for some time now, and the best part about it is traveling!! Here's my BTT.
ReplyDeleteI don't have one yet either. I expect some time in the future I probably will. I doubt I will want to do all my reading on a screen though.
ReplyDeleteThere really is nothing better than turning the pages and smelling the scent of an actual book! :)
ReplyDeleteYay for the printed word :)
ReplyDeleteDefinitely prefer the actual book. And I'd rather someone buy me books than an eReader even though you can read multiple books on one, I still love books!
ReplyDeleteI prefer actual book too only if I'm not traveling. :)
ReplyDeleteSame. I still want one, though! :D
ReplyDeleteActual books are definitely better!
ReplyDeleteI definitely agree that reading the actual book is a better experience. I bought my Kindle for the sake of saving a few bucks (for me that's a biggie, since I buy a ton of new releases) and convenience issues. Nothing beats the real thing, though. I agree! ^-^ I never ever want the written word to be obsolete.
ReplyDeleteI like an eReader because I can read books much faster. Nowadays book ink seems to be fainter and some fonts are just too small for me!
ReplyDeleteI agree - I'd like to get a Kindle because I do get quite a lot of egalleys for review but nothing beats a paperback or hardback copy :)
ReplyDeleteThank you for stopping by my blog today.

I never thought I'd like or want an ereader, but I love my Nook.
ReplyDeleteYes, I agree with you. I also prefer actual copies rather than kindle but kindle is on my wish list! Thanks for stopping by my blog!
ReplyDeleteHello! Thanks for visiting my blog!
ReplyDeleteGreat answer.
I like both! I do worry that the joy of finding an old book will be lost if everything was electronic.
