Mailbox Monday
This week I received two books in the mail:
Out Of Oz by Gregory Maguire
The final volume in the Wicked Years
Archimede's Claw by Theodore Morrison, MD
The epic drama of one's journey through time and his encounter with mankind's greatest mystery.
I also received Out of Oz. Happy reading.
ReplyDeleteThe Oz book was a popular one this week!
ReplyDeleteOut of Oz looks good, but I haven't read any of that series yet. Happy reading!

ReplyDeleteOh, everybody's getting Oz this week! I think I'm the only person on the planet who didn't like the musical based on those books. Enjoy your new reads!
ReplyDeleteI hope you love them both!
ReplyDeleteI received Out of Oz too - that book is really making the rounds! I loved The bway show Wicked but the books aren't really my thing!
ReplyDeleteHave a great week!
Hi Mary Ann,
ReplyDeleteI have to say that I agree with Booksnyc. We went to see 'Wicked' in the West End of London and the live stage show was fantastic. However I am not sure that I would want to read the book.
'Archimedes Claw' really isn't my cup of tea either I'm afraid, but I hope that you enjoy your haul this week and I shall be looking out for a review of 'Out Of Oz'
I saw Wicked myself in Melbourne and loved it. I do hope you enjoy both your books.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your new books! Have a great week. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm not familiar with either of these. Archimedes Claw sounds interesting but the buzz seems to be on the Out of Oz title.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your reading!

I’m impressed, I must say. Really rarely do I encounter a blog that’s both educative and entertaining, and let me tell you, you have hit the nail on the head. Your idea is outstanding; the issue is something that not enough people are speaking intelligently about. I am very happy that I stumbled across this in my search for something relating to this.
