Mailbox Monday- Ugly Beauty by Ruth Brandon

Mailbox Monday

This week I received an uncorrected proof in the mail from Harper publishing called Ugly Beauty by Ruth Brandon.

It is a duel biography of the legendary founders of the cosmetics industry- Helena Rubinstein and Loreal's Eugene Schuller- a gripping and disturbing story of gender, power, and politics that stretches back to the evils of World War 11 and beyond.
