Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows 2- the movie

Harry and The Deathly Hallows 2

As Harry and his faithful friends Hermione and Ron continue their search to find the rest of the horcruxes, more than enough action occurs in this movie . Throughout you are riveted to the screen, as viewing it on the IMax screen made it more exciting. To me it delivered in every way. I found Harry's acting great, he is truly talented. It is sad to see this series come to an end, but it did give us many hours of enjoyment.

  1. I especially enjoyed this Harry Potter movie. It was wonderful to see how the film connected so many elements from the previous films/books.

  2. I really like this one. However, I felt they could have added some extra scenes from the book. Or explained a few of the other horcruxes a little more, but overall it was a good ending to the films :-)

  3. I've yet to see it, thus I am glad you didn't give anything away. I've read all the books, more than once, but still not knowing exactly how the movie plays out is best.

  4. I'm probably one of 3 people on the planet who just don't "get" the fascination with HP. My daughter and her hubby love the whole thing.

  5. My wife and I went to see this opening night. My wife is the Harry Potter nut. I had the advantage of seeing the movies first and then reading the books. It adds a different perspective. It's easier for me to compare the two separately.

My wife, on the other hand, loves the books, and the movies, but not together. She is very much a hardcore HP fan. And she felt that the last few movies did an incredible injustice to the books. And I can see her point after reading the movies and reading the books. A lot was missing or changed in the last couple of movies.

  6. I watched the movie this weekend in IMAX 3D - definitely a great way to watch a film. I thought the movie was very well done, but am too much of book purist to have absolutely loved the movie (too much was changed or left out). Nevertheless, I'm still very sad that the movie series end.

  7. It was so good. It's amazing to see how they all developed from the first movie to now.

  8. I agree with Ev, Mepis's wife and Melissa - this was the first time I felt the changes from the book took away from the movie as a whole especially how the whole Neville and the snake bit played out.
