Booking Through Thursday
Do you ever feel like you're in a reading rut? That you don't read enough variety? that you need to branch out, spread your literary wings and explore other genres, flavors, styles.
Yes, sometimes when your involved in a series, it feels that way,and you want to change your genres after it's finished.
I dont necessarily want to change genres but i may chop my toe off if the series doesnt end soon, haha
ReplyDeleteThanks for Stopping by
the Book Mystess, xx
I have lots of books on my stacks, so I try to select a variety of books each week.
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting my blog.
I use to feel that way when all I read was V.C. Andrews.
ReplyDeleteI felt that way when I read New Moon, Eclipse and Breaking Dawn after each other. I just really really wanted to get the hell out of Forks (and Bella's annoying head).
ReplyDeleteI get into some series, but others like Janet Evanovich's Stephanie Plum series, I have gotten tired of them. I can't stand to read another one of them. At first I liked them, but now I find them very boring.
ReplyDeleteI think reading other book blogs has helped me read other genres, but if I don't enjoy them, they go by the wayside.
OH yea when I read a series I usually break it up with other books. Reading them back to back can get you disinterested.
ReplyDeleteI try to read different kinds of books, it helps in avoiding the rut.
ReplyDeleteI love to read series books in a row with no waiting.
ReplyDeleteSally.
