Teaser Tuesday - She's All That

Here is my teaser from She's All That by Kristin Billerbeck (Page 1):

Bad hair ruined my life. Oh, I know what you're thinking: it's physically impossible for bad hair to ruin your life. But if I didn't have frizzy, bushy, mushroom-shaped hair, I wouldn't need thermal reconditioning, I wouldn't have been at the salon for five hours when my boss gave my promotion to another designer.

  1. Ha! I love this teaser! When I was in high school, I truly hated my hair! It was so thick and coarse. Now, I've learned to tame it...but I can understand this character's plight.

    Here is my teaser:

  2. What a fun teaser.

I found the Amazon editorial review and that made me giddy just reading it, how can so much happen to three girls in such short lives??

The sort of book I would read if I was in need of cheering up, or had readers' block. Always a good standby!

  5. I saw a movie with the same title starring Freddie Prince Jr. and Rachel Leigh Cook and I loved it! If this is the book that movie is based off of I must get it because it's probably better. I know we gals can all relate to having bad days or bad hair lives. I like your teaser!

  8. Bad hair!! What about no hair? I've learned to mostly live with it, but sometimes I miss my bad hair.
