Henry Cavill has been cast to play Superman in the latest film rendition. He is best known from Showtime's series
The Tudors (playing King Henry VIII's (Jonathan Rhys Meyers) best friend, Charles Brandon, a.k.a. The Duke of Suffolk).
After losing the parts of Cedric Diggory in
Harry Potter & The Goblet of Fire and Edward Cullen in the
Twilight saga to Robert Pattinson and the role of James Bond to Daniel Craig - he finally got his big starring role.
He's beautiful...can't wait to see him in that suit!
ReplyDeleteThat's great news for such a yummy man--he's just divine on The Tudors. I didn't realize until just recently that he was in another movie I actually own from a while back, Tristan and Isolde. And I saw a very young version of him in The Count of Monte Cristo on tv the other night. It's all good....;)
ReplyDeleteJamie- thanks! for coming by.
ReplyDeleteSelena- wow, he's been in a few.
Oh wow - this is good news indeed! Henry Cavill in tights, what a delightful prospect... I first saw him in 'I Capture the Castle', as the family 'servant' (and Cassandra's admirer) Stephen. He definitely came into his own in 'The Tudors' though, mmmmmm!
