Which book changed your life?
I would have to say the Harry Potter and Twilight series because they sparked so many conversations with people I know well and people I just met. It's also fun talking with people about the different aspects between the books and the movies.
I think I am the only one that hasn't read either of those books. I might just have to step outside of my comfort zone and give them a try.

ReplyDeleteI'm glad you enjoyed reading them. However, they are not in the genre of books I read. I guess that's why we have so many books and genres to choose from.
I've only read the first Harry Potter book, and while I enjoyed it more than I expected I would, it really didn't make me want to read any of the others in the series. But I know millions of people really love the books, so Rowling must be doing something right!

Quite a few people have mentioned Twilight. I hadn't thought of it as a life changing book but I do like the reasoning behind the choices people have made on it. Thanks for sharing and happy reading!

ReplyDeleteI learn and understand lot of things from that book.
The Harry Potter series REALLY affected my life as well because I started writing fan fiction because of it and met some AMAZING fellow writers and people to encourage me in that direction. I wouldn't be as strong of a writer without them...
